Everybody grows up. Andrew Goldring began blowing audiences away as an 11-year-old blues-rock guitarist. He's graduated from guitar contests, blues jams and barbecue joints and has matured into a formidable songwriting talent. Immersing himself in the masters of song craft - Dylan, Lennon/McCartney, Ryan Adams - the now 16-year-old is a seasoned performer with a strong knack for melody and chord progressions. With influences ranging from Zeppelin and Hendrix to Django Reinhardt and Miles Davis, Andrew's well-informed musical roots lead him to travel a wide musical road. Classic rock infuses much of his original music, although he occasionally ventures into modern funk (Red Hot Chili Peppers), rock (Foo Fighters) and jam band territories. He's equally comfortable strumming passionate acoustic folk songs at a coffee house open mic or ripping lead riffs in progressive rock flavored blues to festival audiences in the thousands. He's opened for blues legend and Woodstock alum Johnny Winter and performed to a conference crowd of 10,000.
